You will receive up to 4 hours of on-site Interior Design Services and 2.5 additional behind-the-scenes hours of service.
What Can I Expect from my Designer For A Day Consultation?
- This meeting helps you initiate plans for your home project.
- We may walk your entire home to see how you live in your space, or maybe we will only concentrate on one space.
- You will be asked a lot of questions. We will also take notes and take pictures so we can refer to them after we leave to better work on your project back in our office for a few additional hours.
- We may assist you in creating your own inspiration/Mood Board
- You will receive a full written synopsis of our visit with follow-up instructions, if needed
We may offer design advice on:
- Creating your Color Story (i.e. monochromatic, contrasting, warm, cool, neutral, dynamic)
- Broad Color & Paint recommendations (e.g. sheen or color placement). For more specific recommendations, consider our Paint Consultation Package
- Furniture Placement recommendations
- Floor Coverings
- Window Coverings - hitting points of function, privacy, decoration, operation, etc.
- Finishing Touches - to create a cohesive, pulled-together space
- Advice on maximizing function and use of space
- Personal shopping (for you or with you)
You will receive notes from our meeting and a Mood Board representative of the themes and styles we discussed.
How Can I Prepare for my Designer For A Day Consultation for the Best Results**?**
- Gather some "Inspiration Images" to review with Julie during the consultation to help define your design style and vision for the space. Pinterest and Houzz.com are some favorite places to look.
- Make a list of the things you want to discuss.
- All this will help our team go into our meeting better prepared.
